Founded in 2010, Ressence represents an independent way of thinking about fine watchmaking, expertly crafted but with a modernapproach to design and aesthetics. Founder Benoît Mintiens considered what a watch might look like if it were a 21st Centuryinvention, the results are truly stunning. In 2011, Ressence patented a fully in-house movement 'ROCS' which featured in the ZeroSeries and in 2013 Ressence won the Horological Revelation prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the Type 3, the firstever oil filled watch. An invention that eliminates refraction between the dial and crystal, allowing legibility from all angles.Introducing the Type 2G from Ressence. Showcasing a round 45mm grade 5 titanium case with a double-domed Sapphire crystal glasswith an anti-reflective coating on the inside, and an elegant convex German grade 5 titanium grey dial and engraved Super-LumiNovadetail for clear legibility in all lights. A powerful patented ROCS 2 Caliber offers expert precision and provides a 36-hour powerreserve.
